Here we go again...

This summer was a tough one in many ways. Finances and time stopped us from doing several things I wanted to do with the kids.  There was about a month where I was severely depressed and would have thoughts of ending it all or running away or some mix of the two.  It was hard.  I was fine while I was out or working but at home I just wanted to check out and I did.  Kids watched too much TV and probably fought too much during that time.  Tonight I am sad that the summer is ending.  We will be heading back to early mornings and cross country and more stress and less family time. I am excited to see what this school year will bring.  There are so many changes in the horizon for both Lee and my careers. Some of the things will happen quickly and some will take more time.  But we have a plan we have a clear picture and for the most part we are on the same page with the same goals and we are helping each other reach those goals together. Flier in the Chapel in Kamiah

Last Sunday we were attending church with my inlaws and I saw a flier hanging up in the foyer.  You know the ones advertising EFY and BYU-I and other things.  This one caught my eye and I could not stop thinking about it.  It said something about instructors needed for Pathways.  It called to me.  I knew I needed to get a temple reccomend.  For years I haven't had one.  Despite being 'worthy" enough it just was something that brought me more anxiety then I wanted to think about.  I went to the website and all the classes I would be willing to teach don’t need a teacher so hopefully in the next 12 months something will become available. I have thought about teaching college classes long before I earned my masters.  Most universities want doctorates teaching but that isn’t on my list of things I want to accomplish.  Pathways seems to have a lower standard of education requirements.   Big changes are coming I can feel them. July

Here is the recap: 4th of July at Lee's cousins.  Always a good time Pitcher Family Reunion Lee and the kids were gone ten days I was gone for six. A/C went out and it was a super easy cheap fix Water Heater went out and it was a cheap but not necessarily easy fix and I went two weeks with out a hot shower or bath. Jaker's cast came off.  I work two extra shifts. Jake left for scout camp. I made some personal life changes and so far so good. I am so  overwhelmed and more motivated then ever to pay off debt. Hopefully some big changes are coming but I am uncertain how stable they will be.
