Our Storm

Storm is our cat. We have had her for nearly eight years. Yesterday something took a big bite out of Storm's leg. She had done a pretty good job of cleaning it up herself. From the time we got home yesterday until mid-morning she was under Jake's bed. Today while I was at work. Lee called and said that Storm looked like she had intestine hanging out and that he was going to take her to the vet. Lee was pretty certain that we were going to have to put her down. I was pretty emotional about it. I love Storm. Lee has more of a love-hate relationship with her but I adore her. The vet didn't seem to think it was very bad and stiched her up. We should have her home tomorrow. The price was half what we orginally were quoted so that is a good thing.

Pretend Weddings and Back to School

My sister in law had her wedding this weekend in Kamiah. I call it a pretend wedding because she elope nine months ago and just kept her original wedding date. Make sense? I was the photographer. Some the pictures will be deleted and she will never see them. Some of them turned out pretty good and with the help of photoshop I am sure they will be amazing. The wedding went much better then I expected. Of course I am always the pessimist. My mother in law did a done of work on the whole event and it really looked great. There were some minor problems, like Jake losing the ring moments before he was suppose to walk down the aisle as the ring bearer. And Tori running as fast as she could down the aisle. All in all it was a great event. Lee started back to school today and I return in just 2 weeks. Really some days I wonder what we are thinking. There will only be one day during the week all of us will be home. Work is well just work. It seems like there are problems popping u

Our Trip that Never Happened

This is what should have happened this weekend Lee, his Dad and his friend end their motorcycle on Friday evening at friends house. The kids and I drive from our house to friend's house in Tri-Cities stay the night and then take their two kids and our two kids to Silverwood Saturday and we would head back home on Sunday. Here is what really happened: The kids and I leave our house around 4:40 which is 20 minutes early then I planned. We get to Baker City and the kids play for about 30 minutes on the playground. Then we head off to Tri-Cities. A few miles out of La Grande I have four voice mails and one text from Lee. I didn't have reception for about 30 miles. I know it can't be good news. My father in law blew his back tire on his motorcycle and they have to stay the night in Dalles, in order to have it fixed in the morning. Silverwood is out the window. So I have to turn back around and drive the 2.5 hours back home through construction at night. I have decided
