Death and Life

People never die when it is convenient.  Lee's aunt died yesterday and the funeral is Thursday.  In New York.  Jake is scheduled to get baptized Saturday. In Idaho.  No way Lee's dad can be back in time and if Lee goes then he would want to stay through the weekend. We are considering moving the date to March but Jake isn't thrilled with the idea.   I have faith that it will all work out.   Life is good.  I applied for a new job at work and I am not sure if I am going to go through the interview process or not.   Tomorrow Victoria is doing a dance/cheer clinic in the morning and then that night they preform at the high school basketball game.   My mind is spinning with all the things that do.  Cleaning the house  laundry Budget Register Jake for soccer book condo for the beach  organize Jake's room gather tax stuff Plus a million little things and lots of huge things at work

Car Trouble

We had a great time in Kamiah.  It was nice and sunny.  Now we are back to really cold weather and gray skies.  The kids had a great time playing with their cousin and riding the sled behind the four wheeler.   We had some car trouble.  Yesterday Lee slid into the mountain on the way to church and today on the way home the van kept stalling.  Lee thinks he knows what the problem was but we have started searching for a new van just in case.  Of course the one I want is way out of our price range plus I don't want a mini van this time around I want an SUV.  But somebody disagrees with me.  I am fairly certain that Lee's car is on it's way out the door too but we will just buy him a four door car that will fit three kids in the back.  We drive our vehicles forever or until I wreak them.  We have some really amazing neighbors who randomly showed up to thaw out our pipes.  all because of some random post on facebook.   Hard to get over Jake being eight.  Really where did m

Way too much

We have way too much stuff.  So I have decided every day we are going to get rid of 27 things.  I have stopped following FLY Lady and found something else that worked better.  Although I took the two and mixed them together and here is hoping that it will help to more organization and less stuff.  So here we go 27 things each day this week and then I will see how things go from there.  Today was Eight is Great with Jake.  The primary did a great job putting it on.  There were even cookies and juice.  Jake so excited for scouts and is finally on board with getting baptized.  He needs a suit and an interview.  The scouts allowed him to start last week due to some things they wanted him to do before the Blue and Gold Banquet.  We are heading to Kamiah on Friday and the kids are excited to play in the snow and Jake has planned his birthday dinner.  Thursday we are having friends over to celebrate here and then Sunday we will celebrate his birthday up there.

Tough Time

It has been a rough week. Andrew has been waking 3-4 times a night. Right now he is laying on me and I don't want to put him down because I am afraid he will wake up. I can't sleep like this all night. I slipped on the ice last night and I hurt. I feel like I was in a car accident. I wish I was in Seattle the bad stuff always happens when I am here instead of there I told Lee we should just move there. I guess I wasn't convincing.

Weekend Plans....

I had grand plans to wake up early and start cleaning.  Well after my two youngest children had rough nights I slept until after nine.  It is now after ten Tori and Lee are still sleeping and I am feeding Andrew a bottle.  So here is the list for this weekends projects: 1) Take down Christmas Tree 2) Plastic on windows 3) Grocery shopping 4) Laundry folding party 5) Jake's room reorganization planned out 6) Walk in closet organized and cleaned 7) Kids Bathroom cleaned 8) Dishes 9) Buy and install new ceiling fan 10) Mail package to Lee's brother 11) Mail card to sister in SLC
