Boundaries

Sometimes  it is okay to say "No"  Espeically in the church we are taught that we need to constantly serve  and say yes to everything we are asked to do. With  my crazy work schedule as well as kids stuff I said no a lot this month.  For the first time in my life I am okay with that.  I have felt more relaxed and focused.  When a family member text me from across the country asking me to call right now for something that was "important".  I texted her in the following morning.  I knew there wasn't anything I could do in the moment.  I also was pretty sure I knew what it was about.  While I could give her some direction thanks to my years of social work experience it was really something she could found by using  Google.   She just simply didn't know where to look. I knew that that evening had to be about me and the family.  I couldn't spend time or energy at that moment on something beyond that.  The next day I spent time helping her when I was in a
