The Six of Us

Usually when people say this the next thing out of their mouth is super rude.  Which is exactly what I just did.  I was texting a friend and said not to be rude but.....blah blah. I guess I shouldn't have said it but I did any way. Not sure why I mentioned that. I should have gone to bed an hour ago. Crossing fingers and toes Andrew stays asleep. But I know it isn't likely. One of those days actually one of those weekend.  Andrew still isn't feeling well. He was doing better and then had a major set back. He keeps waking up in the middle of the night.  He threw up this morning.  It has been a tough nearly a month with no sleep and a sick baby.    Lee will be out of town next weekend so I am staying home with the baby today.  Who is currently sleeping.  Things are going well and I can't complain really.  We have started planning several trips for the summer.  Silverwood and Oceanside and we have some friends who would like to go camping with us in Washington but I am not sure that will happen.   Lee's bike trip will be in June.  Jake is registered for soccer which starts in a few weeks and he still loves scouts.  The kids science/inventor fair is Thursday and I am excited to see how it goes.  Victoria is loving dance still although her ballet exam did not go as well as I hoped.   Lee said that taxes will be his March project.  They keep g

Today I went running and did core training my half marathon is coming up way quicker then I would like. Today we bagged three bags of kid clothes, one bag of maternity clothes and a grocery bag full of kitchen towels/pot holders.  Today I washed and folded four (almost five) loads of laundry. Today I took Andrew in for his six month check up.  It went well.  We will are hoping with the doctor's advice we can clear up the rash. Today we cleaned the downstairs and washed dishes. Today I posted pictures on Facebook of the Blue and Gold. Today I wrote a card to my sister in treatment.  Today I went to Fred Meyer with three kids for a price adjustment.  Got $20 back.  Today I got to spend an hour with my parents.   Today I helped Jake earn a belt loop. This week I need to take clothes to Other Mothers and then the rest to DI.  I need to clean out my closet, take down the pack and play, check plane tickets for the beach.  I need to make dinner for a neighbor on Wednes

So for the 40 days of Lent I am getting rid of 40 bags worth of stuff.  Super excited to see how this goes.  We have so much stuff and stuff that is hard to keep track of things.  I have managed to get rid of almost three bags worth of stuff.  Okay we are in day five of Lent.  So sue me.  There is a bag of kids clothes that need to go.  I am debating on my maternity clothes.  I am thinking I will just get rid of them.    Just today we came up with bag full of papers.  Some from grad school some from the kids school projects.  In the process of getting rid of stuff I found a note book Lee needed for his calling. I started this yesterday and today as the kids are eating breakfast we are planning our cleaning strategy for the day.   Then I want to go do something fun.  Not sure what that will be exactly.  I am sure I will write more later but for the moment this is all I have.
