Potty training

I would have never guessed that Duke would have been so hard to potty train.  Jake was the easiest.  Woke up one day and decided he was done.  The other two weren't so easy but they got there with in a few weeks.  So I thought that Duke was done with diapers.  He had gone two days with out accidents and was doing well.   Then he quit.  Just decided that toilets were not for him.  Didn't matter what I did.  I bribed, I left him in underwear I put in on the toilet ever hour.  Nothing.  He didn't care.  Then.... Last Sunday Lee stayed home with the kids while I was at work.  Lee put Duke on the toilet and would not let him off until he peed.  The first time he sat there for over an hour and then 30 and then 5.  Every two hours.  That was a week ago.  We have had some accidents and I have to reminded at least every two hours and I still bribe (sort of).  But he is staying dry all night and doe...

Win-Win

So for the past several months I have struggled to get our house under control.  In part because I started doing PRN on the Behavioral Health Unit and working more.  So I called my sister and offered to pay her to come over and help me declutter once a week.  It went so well that I have also asked her to come over and clean my bathrooms and kitchen every other week.  Win-Win.  She needs the money and I need somebody to come tell me to get rid of everything.  I am noticing a difference and it has only been two weeks.  (Three times).  We started track a few weeks ago and are still in the middle of dance and scouting.  Jake went on an overnight campout last night and is leaving again tomorrow with my mom to go see the Falls and then Monday they are heading to the cabin.  We will meet up on Tuesday and Jake will spend the rest of the week with us at the inlaws.  I think.  Weather isn't scheduled to be great.  So still...
